Stephen Barrett

My philosophy for personal training is, Every journey begins with a single thought.

Think IT. Believe IT. Live IT. Teach IT.

The transition from where you are now, to where you want to be requires physical performance, but underpinning this is a desire. I aim to coach and train my clients in having the strength in both mind and body to achieve their goals. Hand in hand with this is diet and nutrition support, which is fundamental for whatever your goal, from weight loss to athletic performance.

To achieve this I aim to make sessions fun, functional and focused. The world around us is one big gym and I like to be imaginative in its use, be that in a studio or outdoors.

I’m in the enviable position where I’m leading a fit and healthy life and doing the job I love: helping real people achieve real results.

More about Stephen

Biography

Stephen’s first brush with health and fitness was, like many people, through school: athletics, rugby and tennis being the main sports he pursued both within and outside of school. However, it is running that is his main love: fast, slow, long or short he loves moving. Never far from a book he enjoys reading and learning so he can always bring the best and latest training and advice to his clients. Having previously worked as an engineer, an account manager and obtaining a degree in War Studies his past is varied. This brings a wealth of real world knowledge, analytical skill, a practicality and experience to help deliver results to his clients.
