HFPT’s health level of training is perfect for people that….

  • are new to training
  • have discomfort that makes training a challenge, such as lower back pain
  • are rehabilitating an injury such as an ankle sprain or ITB
  • have health concerns, such as high blood pressure

The goal at the health level of training is to achieve optimal levels of vitality and wellness so you have an abundance of energy and are free from pain and discomfort. No matter how fit or unfit your think you are the intensity of the training is tailored towards your individual needs so you get maximum results.

How does it work?

Step 1: A no pressure initial meet & greet to discuss what you would like to achieve and the training options available to you. If a training option is agreed upon we progress to step 2.

Step 2: We have an appraisal to gather specific information relevant to your current health status and movement capabilities. This is required so the best advice and programs can be given. Appraisals typically consist of

  1. Health/medical history questions
  2. Activity/exercise history questions including any preference towards exercise methods/styles
  3. Measurements – any relevant measures that relate to your goals such as blood pressure, body fat etc
  4. Comprehensive movement screens/biomechanical assessment (if required) – A full movement and joint assessment

Step 3: We design clear and easy to follow corrective excercise programs and a long term progressive training plan for you. We will take you through the programs in the sessions you have so you are 100% confident doing the programs yourself, we will also support you follow the long term plan.

Step 4: We measure your progress at agreed intervals and you move towards achieving your goals. When  your sessions are complete you can renew your sessions and continue training or you can take your new knowledge and skills and continually apply them.
